Álvaro Madrazo graduated from ETSAC-Escuela Tecnica Superior de Arquitectura A Coruna in 2010, where he received his Master of Architecture.

He started his career in his home city, developing various basic and execution projects. In 2012 he moved for an internship at EFFEKT Architects in Copenhagen, Denmark with Leonardo’s grant. During his stay, Álvaro learned the process of developing architectural and urbanism competitions in which he got experience. Most notable projects include the Livsrum Cancer Center in Naesved and the Helsingor School International Competition.
         
In 2013 he worked at ADEPT. The main task that he developed was the design and construction of the Dalarna Media Arena Library (collaboration with Sou Fujimoto) in Falun, Sweden. 

2014 and 2015 Álvaro moved to Mexico to join FR-EE (Fernando Romero Enterprise) where he designed museums, skyscrapers and the  New International Airport México City in collaboration with Foster and Partners. His personal experience in this project was the development for the passengers terminal and the ground transportation center (GTC) after winning competition, coming to possess a broad knowledge of airport operations. 

Since the beginning of 2016, he works for the London firm ACME, developing different residential projects in the UK.
He has experience working in all project phases from concept design to construction documents. During all these years he has been working in public and private projects ranging from small houses to master plans.
